Where have I been all week??

I know, I know, I haven't blogged all week.  I'm still trying to catch up on what I was suppose to do last week.  It was busy!!
We had a snow day on (last) Friday, I spent the day inside.  It snowed all day, but we didn't get the snow that they got in Southern New England and by Saturday most of our snow was gone, due to the wicked winds that come out of the north here.
Sunday I ran!
It was cold (below zero) Sunday morning, but I waited it out and by mid afternoon it was sunny and in the 20's.  I put on my running tights and a couple of layers and headed out for the slowest run ever.  My Nike GPS on my phone said it had been a really long time since I had run.  I had stopped counting, because it was making me sad.  I slogged along for 1.5 miles, I was happy the entire time.  I got to wear my new headband that Travey bought me for Christmas. I got back, showered and changed and my hip hurt just like old times.
The rest of the week was a blur, I worked, on Tuesday I went to a Young Survivors Support group with Erica, on Wednesday I went back to Burlington to the Group Home to say goodbye to one of the kiddos, he was transitioning out of the program and going home.  Thursday was Valentine's Day.
Travey bought me a new bead for my pandora (the red heart)
I hung out with my nephews after school, I brought them cupcakes and brought us home some as well. He cooked dinner and we watched tv and went to bed early.
Last night, I went to a grand opening of a friends new business Studio 7.  It's where I get my waxing done.  Hannah does a fantastic job.  There were cupcakes made by Becky.
Chocolate with peanut butter frosting
This is the kind I had
So, if you are wondering why I didn't mention chemo, I didn't have it this week.  It was an off week, a by week (We've been watching Friday Night Lights, non-stop on season 3 so far).  Side effects update, my hair is thinning, there are strands everywhere, I do mean everywhere.  I keep asking everyone if it looks thin, are there bald spots, but so far so good.  We'll see what happens.  You know, I'm not afraid to be bald.

However, being bald is cold, and I rather like my hair :) And I'm not a huge fan of the growing back part.
Anyway, it's vacation week, oh how I've missed working in a school.  I have fun stuff planned and I'll fill you in as it happens.  Hopefully with lots of pictures!!!
Happy Weekend!
