3 Day Weekend

So I finished my first full week of work at the new jobs.  I can't remember when I last worked 5 days a week, without working nights and/or weekends.  It's amazing.  I am also amazing tired (but very happy) at the end of the day.  I may have gone to bed before 9 pm one or more nights.
We stuck to our menu for the week, we did make one change since we had so many left overs and moved one night to Saturday and made Wednesday night Deja Vu Dinner.  I didn't make any trips to the grocery store (win!) and planned this weeks meals as well.
It took me 2 days, but I washed, dried, folded and put away 5 loads of laundry.  I told Travey not to let me go to bed until I was finished.  
I've been reading the Hunger Games non-stop on my Nook.  Thanks Uncle Mick for sending them to me.  Anyone have Gone Girl??  It's our next book club book?  I'm on the final Hunger Games I was too tired to read anymore last night.
My friend Becky Kev came over yesterday to hang out for a while and she painted my nails.  She does an amazing job and they look professional.  Want a manicure call her..

Saturday night was a surprise party for my sister in law Beth and family friend Lindsay.  They both turned 30 this month.  It was a lot of fun.  I got to talk to a lot of people I hadn't seen in a while.

Other than that, my weekend included sleeping in, breakfast made by my husband, cleaning the bathroom and sitting on the couch.  I love these weekends off.
Today I am off too, but have a ton of stuff to do, meeting my friend Elizabeth for coffee, going to get a thoracentesis (more fluid taken off my lungs, (it's pretty bad right now), getting my hair cut (I'll post pictures), a blood test ( for upcoming chemo on Wednesday) and a young survivors dinner.  There is a young survivors support group, for all cancer survivors and I was going pretty regularly until summer when I had to work too late on Tuesday nights and then after I just got out of the habit, and my friend Erica who was diagnosed with breast cancer in the late summer/early fall and I have talked about going and just haven't made it.  Tonight is the holiday dinner so we are going.  Read about Erica's story here, she found the lump while she was in the Peace Corps.
And then back to work for a 4 day week.
