Three Things Thursday

1. Snow, it finally snowed here in VT.  I'm not a skiier or really any winter sporter so I don't care if it snows or not, but I do have to admit it's really pretty.  I think we got about a foot here in Burlington.  According to the news it's been 650+ days since Burlington has gotten over 6 inches of snow.
2. I'm in the middle of a 48 hour work week, we have crazy shifts over the holidays and I've been at the group home since yesterday and will be here until tomorrow afternoon.  I picked a good time to work straight through, with all the snow, I don't have to go anywhere.
3. Running, yeah, I haven't been doing it.  I was at my (tri) weekly appointment two weeks ago and he noticed my lungs sounded like there was fluid in them.  I had a check xray and yup there was fluid. I have another appointment next week to check it out. I was on an antibiotic as my nephews both had whooping cough. I've been coughing a lot and am out of breath easily, even climbing the stairs.  As you can imagine, it doesn't' make for easy running.  I'm signed up for the First Run on January 1.  It may be a First Walk with a little running.

I'll recap Christmas, the sock exchange and all other fun details of my life when I end this long shift!

  5. 48 hours??? My company only gets 4-8 hours from me each week - kidding. It's so easy to not run as much in the winter because of weather and holiday schedules - I'm in the middle of that right now. Have a good weekend.
